A brief update on yesterday's elections
We’re aiming to publish a robust post-election analysis this Sunday as we did after 2020, 2016 & 2012. We’ll look at outcomes, reasons & implications, though we may not know whether it was a Red Wave or a “Triple Flip,” with close House races undecided.

We are in an age of disruption. Voters are punishing incumbent parties around the world. Bet on Change.
I have a sincere hope that the punishment of incumbents amounts to some level of accountability for delivering on promises. I'm not sure if that hope has any basis in fact as yet, and in fact there's plenty to suggest it's bald-faced optimism and nothing more. Still, one has to wonder if people are tired of being treated like consumers of our political process instead of as participants in it.
