Dems are the governing party—using existing authorities to address problems? The GOP is the anti-govt. party. they don’t care if some of the required rules are left undone.

Every country has an executive, but health democracies require a vibrant legislative branch to check their power - a point made clear in the number of proposed regulations where the President is usurping the power of Congress. But two charts give me hope - the collapse of identity politics as ethnic distinctions start to fade and the power of chocolate. There is hope.
