I was concerned that the last chart was incorrect but it appears it’s already been caught
Bruce, Senate HELP has new chair and ranking as well (they switched places).
We struggled to decide which Senate Chairs were "new".
Technically they're all new vis-à-vis last Congress, when Dems held the Chairs.
We decided to count folks who had never before been Chairs of Senate Committees.
Somewhat arbitrary approach for sure, or at least not intuitive!!
I suppose we might have picked Chairs who hadn’t been ranking members immediately before?
